Kitimat is a coastal town in northern British Columbia undergoing transformational change. Liquid natural gas (LNG) storage and export terminals are being built, allowing LNG to be piped from Alberta to the BC coast, and then to the world. Phase one of the $40-billion LNG Canada project is projected to be completed in 2025. The Kitimat terminal will create many new jobs for LNG staff and those workers will need a place to live.
